Many people are hesitant to try their hand at barbecue because they think that their food has to be perfect from the start or they believe that they must follow a printed recipe to the letter. This is simply not true! As a matter of fact, you are encouraged to experiment with different rubs, spices, marinades, etc. until you find the flavor/s that you and your family enjoy the most. If something doesn’t go right the first time, take note and think about what you can do differently the next time you’re on the grill. The key is to keep trying, learn from past cooks and don’t be afraid to experiment!
